I bought my Gul boots for dinghy sailing.i wanted a boot to keep my feet dry and if not dry,warm and to press this boot fits the bill.

I needed to get a size bigger-I am normally a size 6, however 6 were too tight around the toe,so I had to get a size 7. I have sailed with them twice and am happy with my purchase.

The grip at the front is good for hiking straps and the grip on the sole is excellent -both when wet and dry. They also look good!

The strap around the top is good as it protects the boot and the boat from the metal on the zip.
