Under low loads, the block runs freely in both directions for minimal friction. As load increases, the ratchet engages automatically, providing enhanced holding power without manual adjustment. This seamless transition makes it ideal for dynamic sailing situations such as mark roundings and spinnaker handling.

The soft-attach system allows the block to be lashed or spliced directly through its load-bearing centre, reducing stress on the sideplates while acting as a built-in safety backup. The lightweight construction features fibre-reinforced composite sideplates and a hardcoat-anodised aluminium sheave, delivering exceptional strength-to-weight performance.

Supplied with a Spectra® lashing line, this block can be positioned precisely for optimal lead angles, making it perfect for mainsheet and spinnaker systems on beachcats, dinghies and sportboats.
