The hoodie has a nice, firm quality and a size Medium is suitable for a woman who usually wears a medium or German size 40. The arms are a little long but can easily be folded. I prefer this hoodie over a bathrobe or a thermic coat while doing exercises around the pool in my wet swimsuit or while waiting for my next performance during competition (I'm a synchronized swimmer). The hoodie doesn't really get wet and thus not really heavier after use and can be put into a small bag or backpack. It keeps me warm and safe from cold temperatures and heavy wind. I can recommend the Mystic Voltage sweat not only for surfers but for swimmers as well!
